learning how to calm your mind in a turbulent world: 10 second koan pt i

few people have time to meditate, or even have time alone/silence for themselves...and i get it, we are busy people.  from cell phones, computers, the internet, youtube, netflix, hulu, & on & on & on, there are a ton of things that can distract us & remove us from our peace of mind.  these things can remove us from peace.

how do we find that inner peace?  here is your 10 second koan for today...

no need to meditate for a half hour, do yoga for an hour, chant for 3 hours...

you can have instant karma, right here, right now.

today, resolve to be a better you.  that is your koan, now go...you are free to invent your day newer & better than the last one.

dont wait...start now.  this is something you can apply to your life immediately & you dont have to do anything too crazy.  start with saying something like, i am not going to worry about xyz anymore today.  i am taking a worry free holiday from xyz issue.  permit yourself to worry like one minute, and after that, put it out of your mind.  you cant stop what is going to happen from happening, so just resolve that you are going to stop worrying about the future.

do it...you will be so much happier with yourself.  trust! peace.
